Race Head Nails are designed for use with lightweight shoes (light steel, aluminum). Race Nails have a smaller shank, creating less damage throughout the hoof.

RACE HEAD NAILS ARE OFTEN USED ON:

Additionally, smaller sized shoes (such as those used by ponies or yearlings) can utilize race nails.
